Dr Yale M Cohen MD FACC is trained in cardiovascular medicine, cardiac ultrasound, transesophageal echo, nuclear cardiology, cardiac catheterization, cholesterol management, and preventive care. As an Ivy league undergrad from the University of Pennsylvania, he obtained a broad liberal arts education. He then attended medical school and received his Internal Medicine residency training at the University of Pittsburgh. He, then, completed his cardiology Fellowship at Hahnemann University Hospital. He served as Medical Director to the Weston Chamber of Commerce and twice as Chief of Cardiology at Memorial Regional Hospital. He runs a Vein Center of Excellence. He has taught Vein Ablative therapies to dozens of doctors from within the United States and the Caribbean. As an avid runner and cyclist, he has an interest in preventive care and sports cardiovascular medicine. He has completed dozens of full and half marathons, triathlons and Century bike rides. However, he finds his greatest honor was when he was named Father of the Year by the Weston YMCA. His awards in part are listed below:

Dr. Beatrice Grumberg is a board certified Internal Medicine physician with 25 years experience. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Maryland and attended medical school at the University of Maryland in Baltimore, Maryland. She trained at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center and Hahnemann University Hospital. She is in the process of becoming certified as a functional medicine practioner by the Institute of Functional Medicine. She enjoys writing, running, working out, figure skating.

Dr. Eric Rosen is an interventional cardiologist and Chief of the Cardiology Department at Memorial Regional Hospital, in Hollywood, Florida. He specializes in coronary and peripheral, arterial and venous, interventions. He treats coronary artery disease (CAD) with balloon angioplasty and stent implantation for patients with chest pain, angina, shortness of breath and emergent heart attacks.
Dr. Rosen has a special interest in peripheral artery disease (PAD), and venous insufficiency for leg and arm pain, cramping, edema, swelling, leg wounds, venous insufficiency and varicose veins. He performs lower and upper extremity arterial intervention in addition to vein ablation, sclerotherapy, and phlebectomy. When not in the cardiac catheterization laboratory at the hospital, Dr. Rosen enjoys seeing patients in the office for continued cardiology and medical care. He performs stress test and ultrasound imaging of the heart, legs, abdominal aorta, arms, neck, kidneys and shoulders. Dr. Rosen holds many board certifications including Cardiology, Interventional Cardiology, Echocardiography, Nuclear Cardiology Stress test imaging, and vascular imaging. When not at work, Dr Rosen enjoys spending time with his family. |

As practice manager, Janine is the glue that holds us all together! She has been working in the medical field since 2001. On any given day, you can find Janine working hard on her computer and on the phone helping patients then quickly running from the back of the office to the front desk to help check out and schedule. Janine makes sure all patients feel welcome and well cared for from the moment they walk in our doors until they exit to leave. Patients can always count on Janine’s positive attitude and helpful direction. She is a motivated leader and team player who loves spending time with her family and being outdoors.

Bryan James is the head Physician’s Assistant who has worked with Dr. Cohen since 2003. Mr. James earned his Bachelors in Physician's Assistant Sciences and Masters of Public Health (2001) from Nova Southeastern University. He holds membership in the Endocrine Society of PA, AAPA, VFW, JAAPA and the Biltmore Who’s Who. He is responsible for training the other Physician Assistants and carries administrative responsibilities for the practice, but he most enjoys his patient interactions and clinical decision making. He is adjunct faculty at Barry University. Mr. James served as a combat medic in Desert Shield/Storm, Saudi Arabia, and Iraq. He loves traveling, fishing, golfing, attending concerts and speaking events.

Devin is a nurse practitioner, specializing in cardiology at Cardiac and Veinworx. She obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Florida Atlantic University and then went on to earn her Master of Science in Nursing degree at the University of Miami. She also holds a bachelor’s degree in business management. Devin is a board certified Family Nurse Practitioner through the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC). As a nurse practitioner she has an interest in health promotion that is tailored towards cardiovascular disease. Being a Fort Lauderdale native, she enjoys bike riding to the beach and paddle boarding with her two dachshunds along the Intracoastal Waterway.

Arturo can always be found at the stress lab performing exercise treadmill studies and nuclear procedures. He feels blessed to have a career that he enjoys that also allows him to work with friends and care for patients. He aims to make your day as pleasant as possible. He enjoys traveling, good food and good friends. Stop by anytime to chat with Arturo as he is there to help.

She has 15 years years experience providing direct assistance to patients during treadmill stress testing. Her goal is to make you as comfortable as possible during the procedure. She loves taking care of patients and cherishes spending time with family.

Chad performs echocardiograms with the group and at Memorial Hospital where he received his training. Working on the front lines allows him to stay up-to-date on new trends and guidelines in the field of echocardiography. Cardiac and Veinworx is accredited in echocardiography. Rest assured you will receive the highest quality care at our facility! In his downtime, he enjoys cooking and relaxing by the pool with his wife.

Part of the Cardiac & VeinwoRx family since April 2017, Megan’s welcoming smile and friendly personality will warm the heart. She performs ultrasounds and assists Dr. Cohen and Dr. Rosen with varicose vein procedures. One of the things that Megan truly cherishes in life is family time and a good cook/bake off!

Sophia is one of the newer members of the Cardiac & VeinwoRx dream team. She loves enteracting with her patients while providing the best patient care possible as an Echocardiographer. On her time off, she enjoys spending time relaxing with her family either at the beach or the pool.

Miguel feels fortunate to work in an office that feels like family and enjoys assisting patients with their medical needs. He will arrange your procedures with efficiency and ease. He likes spending time with family and friends and going to the movies. His door is always open for you.

Since 2017, Tyler has been the sunshine in the office. She makes the patients feel welcomed and cared for the second they enter the office. She thrives on making someone’s day and likes to get to know each and every patient.

Alexandra joined the team in December 2021. She is the go-to person for scheduling tests and doctor appointments. Alexandra is skilled at handling phone calls and takes the time to truly understand each patient's needs. Her work reflects her commitment to ensuring patient satisfaction, and you can usually find her at the check-out area.

Stating in July 2023, Stef works the check out desk, helping patients conclude their appointments and find new ones. She makes sure she takes time to accommodate to patients schedules as well as getting them in as soon as possible. Taking calls and addressing patient requirements. Stef loves her coworkers, and feels as though she’s found a new family to improve her teamwork skills.
